Heidi M. Williams
Heidi was introduced to running through track and field when she was just eight years old. She went on to run cross country in high school and when she went to college, Heidi found an interest in trail running. She progressed until she was regularly completing half and full marathon distances, which helped her to qualify for the Boston Marathon. This propelled her into the world of ultra running in 2011, and since then she has never looked back.
Having finished over 20 ultras, most of which were 50k and 50 miles, she is only just getting started. Heidi has placed first place female in numerous 50k and 50-mile races throughout the area, and she attributes much of this to her training and nutrition regimen.
As a Registered & Licensed Dietitian and Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics, Heidi focuses primarily on fueling for endurance events. She also has experience in pre and post-natal coaching, as well as in running throughout pregnancy. She has her own nutrition counseling business, Real Nutrition & Fitness, LLC where she helps individuals develop a healthy relationship with food and exercise.
Heidi is a USATF level 1 running coach and NSCA Certified Personal Trainer. She is also an ambassador for Nuun Hydration and Honey Stinger. Her race results can be found on Ultrasignup.
