REGISTRATION INFORMATION 
FAMILY DISCOUNT: We offer a 15% discount for any family registering three or more kids for the Kidventure 1.5-mile and 5K distances. This discount applies when all children with the same last name are signing up for the Kidventure race in the same year. Please contact us to receive your family discount code before completing registration.
START TIME & TIME LIMIT

Kidventure 1.5 Mile Designed for kids 8 years and under
Start Time: 10:00 a.m.
Cutoff Time: 2.5 Hours
Kids 8 and under are required to have a parent, adult, or family member accompany them on the course.

Kidventure 5K Designed for kids 9–12 years
Start Time: 10:30 a.m.
Cutoff Time: 2.0 Hours
Parents are not required to run with their child on the course, but an adult must be present at the event for the entire time their child is on course.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

The Kidventure 1.5Mi trail race will start/finish at Quail Ridge Park, Wentzville, MO at Shelter 6 (Park Map) 
The Kidventure 1.5‑mile course is a loop featuring mostly flat prairie singletrack dirt trails with approximately 20 feet of elevation gain. It’s very runnable and beginner‑friendly—perfect for young trail runners.


The Kidventure 5K trail race will start/finish at Quail Ridge Park, Wentzville, MO at Shelter 6 (Park Map) 
The Kidventure 5K course is a loop featuring a mix of prairie singletrack dirt trails, rolling hills, and a couple of short, punchy climbs. Runners will encounter creek crossings, rocks, and roots to keep things fun and engaging, with approximately 175 feet of elevation gain. It’s the perfect mix of challenge and fun to keep kids engaged from start to finish.

​Please note: Strollers are not allowed on either Kidventure course. The trail layout is not stroller‑friendly.

General Kidventure 1.5Mi & 5K race specific information
What to expect at the race?
  1. Sign up for the Kidventure 1.5‑mile and 5K races online through UltraSignup. Online pre‑registration is required. Anyone not registered will not be allowed on course or permitted to participate on November 7, 2026. For any registration questions, please contact Chris Nosal.

  2. Age Restriction: Kids 12 years and under only.

Parent/Guardian Requirements:
  1. A parent must be present at the event.
  2. Parents must sign the minor waiver.
  3. Parents may run with their child if they choose.
  4. Start/Finish Location: All Kidventure events will start and finish at Shelter 6 in Quail Ridge Park. Arrive 30 minutes before your child’s start time to color and customize their race bib.​
  5. Packet Pickup: Packet pickup for both distances begins at 9:00 a.m.
  6. Kidventure 1.5 Mile: Starts at 10:00 a.m. All participants should be at the start line 10 minutes before the race begins. ​​No late starts will be allowed.
  7. Kidventure 5K: Starts at 10:30 a.m. All participants should be at the start line 10 minutes before the race begins. No late starts will be allowed.
  8. Finisher Medal: All participants will receive a custom, distance‑specific Kidventure finisher medal to take home.
  9. Swag: T‑shirts are not included with registration and can be added for $15 during sign‑up or purchased on race day. Race‑day purchases will have limited sizes and will be cash only. Youth Sizes.
  10. Footwear: Sturdy running shoes are required for this event.
  11. Photography: A photographer will be on site to capture the fun and memories. Photos are not included in registration fees. A post‑race link will be available on the photographer’s website for anyone who wishes to purchase images directly
  12. Hydration & Sustainability​: There are no aid stations or water stations on the course for either Kidventure distance. Water will be available at the Start/Finish area. We encourage all kids (and parents) to bring a handheld bottle, hydration cup, or other reusable receptacle for water and for post‑race hot chocolate.
    As part of our sustainability pledge, paper cups will not be provided at the Start/Finish.
Post-Race
 Join us for some hot chocolate and snack at the pavilion in the park and cheer on your fellow Kidventure racers.

Race Swag
Custom cotton lifestyle short‑sleeve youth shirts are available for an additional $15. Swag can be purchased during registration. We will also have shirts for sale on race day for $15 cash only. Please note that race‑day sizes will be limited.
​All finishers will receive a custom Kidventure medal. There are no awards for the Kidventure 1.5‑mile race.
For the Kidventure 5K, the top 3 boys and top 3 girls will receive a custom, handmade award.
