Lisa Kennedy - Assistant Race Director

Meet Lisa Kennedy
Mother, pediatric physical therapist, and ultrarunner with a heart full of grit and a soul built for community.
Since lacing up her shoes in middle school back in 1994, Lisa’s journey has been one of steady miles and powerful momentum. She jumped into the world of ultrarunning with her first 53K at Rockin’ Rockwoods in 2021, and she hasn’t looked back.
Lisa joined Terrain Trail Runners-STL in April 2021, she’s become a cornerstone of the community: organizing group runs, mentoring new athletes -- especially women and giving back through trail work and volunteerism.
In 2025, Lisa turned her vision into reality by launching the Ozark Foothills Kids Fun Run, a free 1-mile trail event created to spark confidence and curiosity in young runners.
With the mission to make trail running more accessible, fun, and empowering for the next generation. Whether she’s cheering at an aid station or guiding with compassion on the trails, Lisa's authenticity, perseverance, and ability to lift others continues to shine.

Jessica Huff - Assistant Race Director
Meet Jessica Huff
Ultra-distance powerhouse, Jess Huff has her heart rooted deeply in community and purpose. Since lacing up her first pair of running shoes in 2004, Jess has chased pavement and trails with purpose, and grit. A former public health researcher turned stay-at-home mom of three, she found her stride in the trail and ultrarunning world in 2022 and never looked back. Jess joined Terrain Trail Runners-STL in 2022 and immediately began uplifting everyone around her. Whether it’s supporting fellow runners, volunteering on course, or building an inclusive space for athletes of all abilities. Jess is more than just a runner; she's a catalyst for inclusion and empowerment. Jess leads with heart, hustle, and undeniable tenacity. Fiercely loyal to the St. Louis trail scene, Jessica embodies what it means to give back with grit. She's known for her unshakeable support of what she believes in, and she shows up, always. |

Amanda Eigel - Course Manager

Meet Amanda Eigel
Amanda has been running marathons since 2011, with her passion evolving into trail running in 2019 and ultramarathons by 2020. A proud USAF veteran and dedicated entrepreneur, Amanda became a member of Terrain Trail Runners - STL in August 2019, quickly becoming an influential leader in the St. Louis trail and ultrarunning community.
Amanda is known for her unwavering grit, nonconforming spirit and consistently leading by example. Introducing newcomers to the sport, empowering others to push their physical and mental boundaries, and inspiring those around her with boundless generosity.
Amanda's commitment to others' success, deep understanding of course dynamics, and remarkable presence as a mentor and volunteer make her an ideal leader.
Amanda is an indispensable asset because of her deep understanding of course logistics, reroute strategies and years of experience marking routes for TTR events, especially for major events like the Ozark Foothills Endurance Runs.

Rob Swanson - Volunteer Coordinator

Meet Rob Swanson
Rob has been a member of Terrain Trail Runners - STL since 2019, Rob brings a rare combination of free-spirited energy and meticulous focus to everything he touches. With a keen eye for detail and a heart for service, he plays a pivotal role in coordinating volunteer initiatives and logistics for the Ozark Foothills Endurance Run to help ensure the event runs smoothly.
Rob’s journey as a runner began in 1996 during his time in the military, where he first discovered the power of endurance and discipline.
He took his running to the next level, tackling the Go St. Louis Marathon on his 40th birthday and following it up with his first 50 miler in 2018. Since then, he’s continued to inspire others with his dedication to pushing personal limits on and off the trail.
When he’s not trail blazing and giving back to the community, Rob works as a Siding Coordinator and Office Manager at J & J Siding and Window Sales, where his organizational skills and work ethic shine just as brightly as they do on race day.
