COURSE DESCRIPTION
The inaugural Babler Bongo 15K Trail Race is a great introduction to trail racing for beginners as well as a challenge to test their speed for the more experienced trail runners. The race start/finish will be a little way past the Guy Park trailhead by the swimming pool/restrooms in Dr. Edmond A. Babler Memorial State Park.
The Babler Bongo 15K is a loop course connecting Dogwood, Woodbine, Hawthorn and Equestrian trails at Babler State Park. The loop has a cumulative elevation gain of 1,350 feet.
The course offers a challenging terrain ranging from steep grade to rolling hills, rocks, roots and creek crossings that will make for a fairly challenging loop course.
