RACE DAY REGISTRATION
We will be accepting onsite/race day registrations for Doomsday 5K!
Race Day Registration - $70.00
*ALL race day registrations will receive a custom Doomsday 5K PINT.
You can swap the pint for a shirt if we have any sizes available post-race.
*CASH ONLY*
Race day/onsite registration will begin at 9AM on January 1, 2027!

START TIME & TIME LIMIT
The race will start at 10:00 AM. The cutoff for the race is 2 Hours, that's more than 30 minutes/miles.

COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Doomsday 5K trail race will start/finish a little way past the train tracks in Cliff Cave County Park.
Runners will start on the pavement for 1/2-ish Mile then get on the Spring Valley Trail Outer Loop for 1.8-ish Miles before heading back to the finish on pavement once again for 1/2-ish Mile to the finish. Spring Valley Trail is an all-dirt trail with rolling hills, some roots and rocks to keep you present!
*Spring Valley Trail is a beginner friendly trail*
Kick off the New Year with a 5K race on some fast and relatively 'easier' trails!
The Doomsday 5K trail race is a great introduction to trail racing for beginners as well as a challenge to test their speed for the more experienced trail runners.
Course Distance - 5K with approximately 272 feet of elevation gain.
The Doomsday 5K trail race will start/finish a little way past the train tracks in Cliff Cave County Park.

***PLEASE NOTE***
For safety and insurance reasons, only registered participants are allowed on the course. This means children cannot run with a parent unless they are also registered. We do offer family and youth discounts on our website to help make registration more affordable.
If cost is a barrier, please reach out to us. We’re more than happy to provide hardship assistance and can comp your child’s entry if needed.
DOOMSDAY 5K MINOR REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS
To properly register a child for the Doomsday 5K events, please follow these steps carefully. This ensures accurate timing, tracking, and correct participant assignment.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
1) Log Out of Your UltraSignup Account
Before starting, make sure you are fully logged out of your personal UltraSignup account. This prevents the system from assigning your child’s registration to your profile.
2) Begin Registration for the Event
Go to the event page and click Register to start the process.
3) Select “Register as a Guest”
When UltraSignup prompts you to sign in, look to the right side of the screen and click the green link labeled “Register as a Guest.” This is required for all minor registrations.
4) Complete the Registration Form
Enter your child’s information as the participant. Follow the prompts until the registration is complete.
***Important Notes for Families Registering Multiple Children***
- If you are registering more than one child, you must use “Register as a Guest” for each child.
- You do not need multiple email addresses. You may use the same email for all children as long as you register each one as a guest.
- Using this method ensures each child is properly entered into the system for timing, tracking, and race results.

There will be NO aid stations on the course and/or at the start/finish area. Runners are responsible for their own aid, carry your own water receptacle during the race if you need water and bring your own mug for post-race coffee.
*Runners are not required to carry their own hydration bottle, pack, or cup on the course
*Keep in mind that Terrain Trail Runners events are "cupless" races. This policy is put into effect in an effort to reduce the amount of waste and adopt a sustainable “green” practice for the race and the sport of trail/ultra-running*
Post-Race
Join us for some hot coffee and snack at the pavilion in the park and cheer on your fellow Doomsday 5K racers.
